Welcome to my page!

In my class, I try to promote leadership. My goal for the students in my class is to learn to “Lead By Example”. I expect my students to be positive role models for the younger students in the school. The best way to accomplish this is to BE RESPECTFUL. That is my only classroom rule.

RESPECT includes all sorts of things that make up a successful student. A RESPECTFUL student does not talk while someone else is talking. A RESPECTFUL student raises his/her hand before speaking. A RESPECTFUL student does not bully, tease, fight with, or make fun of people. A RESPECTFUL student follows the rules that someone spent a long time putting in the Student Handbook. RESPECTFUL students keep their hands and feet to themselves. And RESPECTFUL students do the homework that their teachers work so hard to prepare. RESPECT is a tool that will be beneficial in the overall success of each and every student who chooses to use it.

My Class Website

I have a website, that I created through Scholastic.com, that you can find Homework Assignments, Announcements, Recommended Booklists, Online Activities, and Class News. Students and parents should visit the site daily to see upcoming assignments and when they are due. The link below will take you directly to the class website. You will not need a username and password if you click the link below to get to the website. This can be a very valuable tool if used the right way. I strongly suggest that you make good use of it.
